- Within this tab you can specify how many objects (and thus columns as well) can be taken into account when performing an Authorization audit. The maximum number of columns is set to 60, while the default value is set to 15.
- The Object column width (indicated in twips) can be resized when necessary.
Note: Twips are a measurement-unit used by MS Access.
A Twip equals 1/1440 of an inch and 1/567 of a centimeter.
- As you can notice, you can also set the User ID column's width. This is particularly useful when you have defined profiles or roles as userid’s.
- Additionally one can change the default logic, the default filter T-code and the default norm settings in order to perform future audits with more convenience.
The default settings can be changed when you prefer a query-by-query audit.
Please keep in mind that the settings are fixed if you choose to run multiple queries by tick-marking them and pressing the 'Multiple Run'-button.
Note: However, you can still override them in this case by activating the 'Disregard filter TCODE'-checkbox in the Audit Cockpit or Select & Run-module. This option must be used in situations where you run a query where no T-codes are assigned to the query (eg DEBUA) since otherwise one might underestimate security risks related to those queries.
- Norm codes are listed one after the other without spaces. For example: In order to filter on norm codes A and B, fill out AB in the norm filter text box.
For more information on norm codes, refer to Norm Codification in this Preferences section.
