Get STAD Info through RFC

Two databases need to be attached:

 

1. The RAW data is a temporary database which contains all SAP information about users and executed transaction codes.

 

2. The STAD Output Data will mainly be used in conjunction with the CSI Authorization Auditor. It will give you an overview of which users have executed specific transactions, how many times and the date when they have been performed.

Additionally it can be used in conjunction with the STAD analyzer.

 

Fill out the path for both Raw and Output databases and click on the ‘New…‘-button in order to create these databases (or simply attach them when they already exist).

 

Check-mark the statistical data that you want to retrieve. Use the yellow filter area in order to filter on System, Period or Start Date.

 

Note: The Period refers to the frequency of information which has been stored in the SAP table: Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Yearly.

 

For example: Yearly period means that a particular transaction code has been executed by the user in this particular year but with no

specification on particular day, week or month.

Click on the Log on/Refresh button to:

• Already logged in: it will refresh the list.
• Not yet logged in: it will log you on, get the list, log you off.

The statistics part displays the amount of records which have been retrieved and are currently contained in the Raw and Output database.

You can clear the content by pressing the ‘clear…’-button.

 

Depending on your monitoring requirements you can decide to add new data into your existing database (the previous information will not be altered); or start from scratch by using the clear buttons.

In order to display report names it is required to download table TRDIRT from SAP.

By ticking the checkbox this table is included in the STAD download.
